Your world lies within a vast and ineffable congregation of planes forged by gods long lost to legend. For the mortals across the countless planes it is an era of discovery, as new kingdoms are built and mighty treasures of the ancient past are uncovered from the tombs of vanquished gods and kings. Forgotten worlds lay wild and unbound, teeming with unknowable relics guarded by the dread horrors of ages long past. Old gods rise from crumbling domains, seeking to reclaim their might through the favour of mortals while new gods rise to challenge the order of their predecessors, igniting chaos and death as they struggle for glory amidst the dying planes.

You are an adventurer in this realm, or of such skill to be considered one. Although your power is little compared to the great forces that inhabit the vast planes, you have been born into a time where even those with the faintest wisp of might may yet rise to greatness.

What Is It? 

Vigilant is a modern take on classic TTRPGs. A lethal ruleset is complemented by tightly balanced tactical combat that provides hundreds of shifting options on a round-by-round basis for a true expression of player skill. We've also chopped away all the bloat and competing systems of classic games to create unified resolution-systems for consistent play across combat or social encounters while preserving player choice and freedom above all else.  Adventure into a dark realm where your wits and judgment will determine whether you find glory or oblivion.

This project is fully playable in its current state with all player-facing rules finalized and all the important GM-facing rules available.
